Coaching packages differ from a standard class in that you the athlete, and I the coach, enter an agreement to improve your skills over a period of time with multiple sessions, as well as phone, email, and other contact on a regular basis where I will monitor your progress, and COACH you to success! I DONT ACCEPT THOSE WHO ARE JUST SHOOTING FOR FUN. I WILL ONLY WORK WITH THOSE WHO ARE WILLING TO DO THE WORK. The coaching packages offered by Shooting-Performance are obviously designed for competitive oriented students who have a specific desire to excel in their shooting discipline.
Shooting-Performance founder, Mike Seeklander will personally coach individuals to the level of success they desire. Although Mike specializes in USPSA/IPSC style competitive matches, the mental aspects of his coaching packages will help anyone reach their desired potential.
NEW! Mike Shooting-Performance is accepting applications for coaching. I have a limited number of openings for coaching starting immediately. Due to an incredible heavy schedule, I will only be accepting a very limited number of applicants. Please fill out a coaching application for consideration to be taken into the program.
Some General Details:
If accepted (not everyone will be) to the program, it is a year in length. At the end of your year, we will re-evaluate and decided if additional coaching is necessary and desired by you.
If you apply and are accepted for the program, I guarantee results IF you commit to the program and have a strong work ethic.
I will REQUIRE weekly training logs (which are detailed and will take time) emailed or sent to me. This is how I will guage your progress.
I WILL attend and coach you through at least one match (local if you come here for the training) per year. For those that purchase a group package, and bring me to you, I will make every attempt to coach you through one match at a minimum.
The program/s include:
Individual Competition Package-Designed for those select athletes who don't simply wish to reach the top levels of the classification system, or their local match. Although this package covers everything needed to be successful, it is designed for future champions that have a desire to learn the mental concepts of the game sooner rather than later. All top competitive shooters will confirm one thing:Performing at the highest level is all in the mind/mental game.
This package includes:
(1) Individual privte one on one coaching sessions per year (more can be arranged if necessary), 16 hours in length.
Coaching sessions conducted at small or major matches scheduled in the athletes shooting year (when schedule and proximity allow)
(1-3) Weekly email and phone coaching sessions (submition of training log/reports will be required by athlete weekly)
Custom designed training program (updated as skill improves) that will be provided after the first one-on-one session.
Monthly Coaches Corner training information (special access area of Shooting-Performance)

Group Competition Package-This is the same package as the individual package, but the individual training sessions (minimum one per year), are shared by up to 4 people).
This package includes (per person):
(1) group (maximum of four) coaching session per year (more can be arranged if necessary), 16 hours in length. (shared by the goup)
Coaching sessions conducted at small or major matches scheduled in the athletes shooting year (when schedule and proximity allow)
Weekly email and phone coaching sessions (submition of training log/reports will be required by athlete weekly)
Custom designed training program (updated as skill improves)
