Website Rules

Shooting-Performance was created for multiple reasons, all of which relate to increasing quality and performance.   This mandates that we have some rules:

  1. No crap allowed!   This is one of my pet peeves, websites and training institutions that exist in a world plagued with "crap".   What is crap?   Anything that doesn't directly relate to increased performance or education.   "Do nothing of which is no use"
  2. Performance is the rule.   Our performance standard is this:   The principle, tactic, or technique must work under real world operational conditions   (for   those wishing to enhance their skill in this area) or during actual national or world level competitive events (for those wishing to compete at the highest levels).   This standard  will dictate what we pass on as quality information.   If it doesn't work, it won't be taught, talked about, or linked to on this website.
  3. "Get your stuff on" rule.   This one relates to the preceding rule.   Instructors, students, and visitors of this website are encouraged to test performance, not by discussion, email or forum rants, but by gearing (hence "get your stuff on") up and finding out what works, and what doesn't.   Once again, what doesn't work gets thrown away.

What happens if you break the rules? Nothing!   Absolutely nothing.....and that is exactly the point.   Notice all the rules relate to quality information and increased performance.
